I am hoping that you will enjoy visiting my blog. I'm sure it will be an ever evolving process and will grow. I am a mom of 1 daughter and 4 four legged kids. Three Bostons, and a Pug. All rescues. My life is not complete without my dogs. I have to create. It is not an option. There has to be some form of art going on in my life. If you are interested in a piece, please let me know. You can e-mail me at brendalouhayes@yahoo.com. I am now set up to accept payment through PayPal. I will also accept checks. Please enjoy. If you see something you like and it doesn't have a price, send me an e-mail.

This necklace may have to stay in my own stash. I love it so much. Copper chain with two shades of green bead dangles. The focal is made from a wine cork. I sliced the wine cork, painted and stamped it. $30.00
I found these paper beads at a flea market in Springfield a couple of years ago and they have just been waiting patiently for me to make something with them. Paper beads seem to be making a comeback. I see lots of blogs with directions on how to make them. Makes me want to make my own.
Another fun bracelet. I love orange, but I do not sell a lot of the orange jewelry that I make. But...I tend to make what makes me happy and if people like it, great. If not...more orange jewelry for me.
I'm trying new things. This bracelet has beads, charms, copper components and silk ribbon.
I am also thinking about opening an Etsy store. I am torn because Etsy is so saturated with Jewelry, what are the odds that someone would choose one of my pieces. Is my jewelry different, eye-catching enough. Do I have time? All good questions. I guess if I don't try I won't find out.
